Vishnu Chemicals has received approval for acquisition of Jayansree Pharma (JPPL). In furtherance of the same, the Company has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with Jayansree Pharma and its shareholders on August 19, 2024, to record the terms of the acquisition.
This newly acquired company will manufacture speciality chemicals and operate in allied area, in-line with the Holding Company. The cost of acquisition is Rs 51.99 crore. The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on August 19, 2024, has approved the same.
Vishnu Chemicals pioneered manufacturing chrome chemicals like sodium dichromate, potassium dichromate, basic chromium sulphate and yellow sodium sulphate at its plants in Medak District in Andhra Pradesh and Bhilai in Chattisgarh.
