Tata Chemicals has informed that the Company has received an Order from the Office of State Tax Officer (ST), Chidambaram-1, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu levying a penalty of Rs 4,49,590 under the Central Goods & Service Tax Act (CGST Act) / Tamil Nadu Goods & Service Tax Act (TNGST Act) & Rules framed thereunder. Based on the merits of the matter, prevailing law and the advice of the counsel, the Company is planning to appeal against the Order before higher authorities and reasonably expects favourable orders from the appellant authorities. The information as required under Clause 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations read with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 is enclosed in the Annexure.
