GAIL (India), the state-owned gas utility has swept the annual PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Awards for 2012. The company has won the awards for Oil & Gas Pipeline Transportation Company of the Year, Environmental Sustainability Company of the Year and Project Management (Rs 500-2000 crore) for their 100 MW wind generation project in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The awards were given away by Oil Minister M Veerappa Moily, Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed), an association of public and private sector oil companies.
GAIL is India's flagship natural gas company integrating all aspects of the natural gas value chain including exploration and production, processing, transmission, distribution and marketing and related services.
