Torrent Power has entered into a fresh Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 03, 2024 with the Department of Water Resources, Government of Maharashtra for establishment of Pumped Storage projects with a total capacity of 5,600 MW instead of 5,700 MW. Earlier, the MoU was entered with the Department of Energy, Government of Maharashtra for total capacity of 5,700 MW.
