Tata Chemicals (TCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BAIF Development Research Foundation (BAIF) to explore the production of Spineless Cactus and Hybrid Napier as part of Tata Chemical’s commitment to green sustainable solutions and rural development.
Under this MoU, Tata Chemicals and BAIF envisage to build a partnership that leverages BAIF’s expertise in implementing agricultural practices for rural development, agro-biodiversity conservation, climate-smart agriculture, and renewable energy. They will also utilize TCL's competencies across platform technologies of nutrition biosciences, nanotechnology, agro chemistry, advanced materials, and capabilities of rapid R&D translation for scale.
