Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), the two wheeler maker has reported 11.09% growth in its total sales for June 2013 at 2,52,114 units against 2,26,929 units in the corresponding month last year. Its motorcycle sales increased by 16.90% to 1,20,639 units in June 2013 from 1,03,195 units in June 2012, while scooter sales increased by 6.25% at 1,31,475 units from 1,23,734 units in June 2012.
The company has recently rolled out the new version of its entry level bike Dream Yuga priced at Rs 45,101 at ex-showroom in Delhi. This new bike is equipped with 'Honda Eco technology' which has helped in increasing fuel economy of the model to 74 kmpl from the previous 72 kmpl.
