Hindustan Motors' passenger vehicles production stood at 250 units in June 2013

Hindustan Motors (HM) has reported a dull performance in production of passenger vehicles for the month of June 2013 at 250 units compared to 591 units in the same month of the last year. In the Light Commercial Vehicles, the company has reported production of 2 units in June 2013.

On domestic sales front, the company sold 193 units in the month of June 2013 as compared to 317 units sold in June 2012, while the company failed to sell any units in Light Commercial Vehicle space compared to 20 units sold in June 2012.

Hindustan Motors is India’s pioneering automobile manufacturing company manufactures passenger cars, Multi Utility Vehicles and RTV. It also manufactures passenger cars in the mid size premium segment (Mitsubishi Lancer, Lancer Select, and Lancer Cedia) and has brought the Sports Utility Vehicle (Mitsubishi Pajero) into the Indian market, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors of Japan.
