IT giant IBM has been reported to have inked a 10-year pact with private carrier Jet Airways to provide contact centre and back-office services. Under the agreement, which is an extension of the previous one, IBM would offer solutions for customer contact centre operations, including improved analytics capabilities and IT infrastructure.
The solutions provided by IBM would help Jet Airways improve its customer service by reducing its total cost of ownership and allow it to derive higher revenues by using advanced analytics technologies.
Jet Airways, three years ago engaged IBM to help transform core IT Infrastructure to keep pace with rapid business growth projections, while adding to its competitiveness in the market.
