Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is planning to sell 36,000 units of its 100cc bike Dream Neo, in Rajasthan. It has recorded a 36% growth by selling 30,000 units of other bike models in urban and semi-urban cities of the Rajasthan in the stipulated quarter. Overall, HMSI aims to sell 39.3 lakh units and register a phenomenal 43% growth in the current fiscal over previous year.
HMSI has reported 11.09% growth in its total sales for June 2013 at 2,52,114 units against 2,26,929 units in the corresponding month last year. Its motorcycle sales increased by 16.90% to 1,20,639 units in June 2013 from 1,03,195 units in June 2012, while scooter sales increased by 6.25% at 1,31,475 units from 1,23,734 units in June 2012.
