Reliance Capital surges on inking MoU with Karnataka Bank

Reliance Capital is currently trading at Rs 385.80, up by 4.80 points or 1.26% from its previous closing of Rs 381.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 384.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs 385.85 and Rs 381.40 respectively. So far 164883 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 508.00 on 07-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 297.05 on 26-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 385.85 and Rs 338.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 9358.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.14% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.29% and 20.37% respectively.

Reliance Capital, a constituent of Reliance Group and one of India’s leading & amongst the most valuable financial services companies in the private sector has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Karnataka Bank, one of the leading Private Sector Banks of India. The MoU was signed for financing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through co-financing arrangement.

As per the MoU, the bank will provide Fund Based/Non Fund Based finance to the eligible MSMEs referred by Reliance Capital, as per the norms of the Bank.

Reliance Capital is a systemically important non-deposit taking NBFC. The company is part of the Reliance group led by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani. It currently operates as the holding company for the group’s entities in the financial services sector.
