Cera Sanitaryware, an Ahmedabad based company has reported a net profit for the period under review of Rs 11.18 crore as compared to Rs 9.24 crore for the first quarter of FY 2012-13, an increase of about 21%. Moreover, the company has reported a net sales income of Rs 126.59 crore for Q1 2013-14, a growth of 39.86% over Q1 of FY 2012-13 at Rs 90.51.
Meanwhile, the company has achieved an operating profit of Rs 21.30 crore compared to Rs 17.21 crore for the same period during 2012-13.
The Q1 results reflect CERA’s continuance of its high growth rate in excess of 35%, which is a sequel to management’s commitment to aggressive business strategies. The growth also reflects CERA’s focused endeavours to retain its status as complete bathroom solutions provider to its customer base across India. The strategic planning in terms of product optimization and leveraging on the company’s strong brand image with well supported penetrating distribution network continues to drive company’s high growth and carving out new standards for itself.
