A consortium led by Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL), along with HFCL and Aerial Telecom Solutions has been emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for Development (Creation, Upgradation and Operation & Maintenance) of Middle mile network of Bharat Net on Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) Model.
Broad consideration or size of the order is Rs 5008.20 crore. The construction work under the project is to be completed under three years, whereas the maintenance contract will be executed over a 10-year period.
Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
