Central Bank of India trades higher on the BSE

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 61.10, up by 0.55 points or 0.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 60.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 60.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 61.45 and Rs. 60.60 respectively. So far 22650 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.60 on 09-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 59.75 on 25-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 64.45 and Rs. 60.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6387.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 85.31% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.21% and 5.48% respectively.

Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has paid an amount of Rs 373.27 crore which includes dividend on equity shares and PNCPS to Government of India (GoI) for the year ended March 31, 2013. The bank handed over the cheque in a small function organized in the office of Finance Minister P. Chidambaram.
