NSE excludes Indian Hotels Company from derivative segment

The Indian Hotels Company has been prohibited from the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) derivatives segment and no contracts shall be available for trading in the above mentioned securities with effect from September 27, 2013, as it failed to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the regulator.

The existing unexpired contracts of expiry months July 2013, August 2013 and September 2013 would however continue to be available for trading till their respective expiry and new strikes would also be introduced in the existing contract months.

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. The Gateway Hotels & Resorts is a full service upscale hospitality brand in the South Asia region and a part of the Taj Group of Hotels.
