Bajaj Auto’s hearing of petition gets postponed

Bajaj Auto, the country’s second largest motorcycle manufacturer’s petition in the Pune labor court has been postponed till July 23, 2013. The petition was filed to seek that the strike by 900 workers of the operative Union of its Chakan plants since June 25, be declared illegal. Even in this situation, the company has achieved 100% completion of its required production of all brands of motorcycles.

The company manufactures the small displacement KTM bikes at Pune plant which are sold globally. The company is looking at 10% growth in the racing category in the current fiscal.
