KEC International has executed the Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) on December 30, 2024, regarding transfer of Cables Business of the Company, on a going concern basis, via slump sale, to KEC Asian Cables, a subsidiary of the Company.
The subsidiarisation of the Cables Business will help improve focus on Company’s core activities, go-to-market approach and capital allocation. The transaction is a related party transaction with a subsidiary company of the Company and is being done at arm’s length.
KEC International is a global infrastructure EPC major. It has presence in power transmission and distribution, cables, railways, water, renewables and civil.
