Most of the Asian markets traded lower in early deals on Thursday, amid cautiousness ahead to a slew of data from the region later in the week. Stock market of Japan remained closed for market holiday.

Hang Seng tumbled by 297.10 points 1.50% to 19,762.85, Straits Times down by 4.20 points 0.11% to 3,783.40, Taiwan Weighted slipped by 308.76 points or 1.34% to 22,726.34, KOSPI Index increased by 8.29 points or 0.35% to 2,391.20, Shanghai Composite shrunk by 35.26 points or 1.06% to 3,316.50, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI dipped by 10.57 points or 0.64% to 1,631.76.
