MOIL has produced 4.6 lakh tonnes of manganese ore during October-December period (Q3FY25). The company has achieved best ever Q3 sales of 3.88 lakh tonnes, higher by 13% over corresponding period of last year (CPLY).
During April-December, 2024 period, production stood at 13.3 lakh tonnes, higher by about 4.5% over CPLY. Sales were at 11.39 lakh tonnes, higher by 3.5% over CPLY. The company has conducted exploratory core drilling of 72,340 metres, which is higher by 19% over last year's similar period.
With the above record-breaking performance, MOIL is expected to surpass the best ever Q3 revenue.
MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
