Vedanta has reported 3% rise in its aluminium output to 6,14,000 tonnes in third quarter of FY25 over the year-ago period. Saleable metal output on domestic front remained flat to 2,59,000 tonnes in Q3FY25 as compared to third quarter of FY24. While the mined metal output on international front surged to 46,000 tonnes in Q3FY25, over 41,000 tonnes in the third quarter of FY24.
The production of saleable iron ore rose to 1.5 million tonnes in Q3FY25 over 1.4 million tonnes in the year-ago period. The total Finished steel production declined 3% to 3,29,000 tonnes during the quarter and power sales decreased 21% to 3206 million units in Q3FY25 from 4,044 million units in the October-December period of the last financial year.
