NTPC Green Energy and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (UPRVUNL) have incorporated joint venture (JV) by name ‘NTPC Up Green Energy’. The certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies was received on January 4, 2025.
NTPC Green Energy will hold 51 per cent stake in the JV, while the remaining stake will be controlled by UPRVUNL. The objective of incorporation of the JV is to develop, operate and maintain Renewable Energy Park(s) & Project(s).
