Pursuant to regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, MOIL has informed that the Company has received an order dated 03.01.2025, from the Collector of Balaghat imposing penalty of Rs.16,77,08,724.88 in respect of excess production in Tirodi Mine beyond Environmental Clearance(EC)/consent to operate (CTO) during the years1993-94 to 1995-96 and 2006-2007 to 2008-09 as per the order passed in Writ Petition (Civil), No. 114 of 2014 (Common Cause vs. Union of India & Others) dated 02.08.2017 and published in official gazette on 23.11.2017. The details of the penalty as per above regulation 30 are enclosed. The company will file an appeal before the appellate authority against the said order. There is no impact on the operations or other activities of the Company due to the above-mentioned order.
