NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has incorporated subsidiary of the company ‘NTPC Rajasthan Green Energy’ as 74:26 joint venture of NTPC Green Energy and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RVUNL), a Government of Rajasthan Undertaking.
The joint venture aims to develop, operate and maintain Renewable Energy Parks including UMREPP/ RE Projects comprising of Solar/Wind/Hybrid with or without Storage up to 25 GW capacities in Rajasthan. It will also focus on development of Green Hydrogen / Derivatives (Green Ammonia / Green Methanol etc.) up to 1 million ton capacity through a suitable model.
