Tata Motors doubles margin for PV dealers: Report

Tata Motors has reportedly doubled the margin for passenger vehicle (PV) dealers to around 5 percent as many top dealers are exiting the company. Three top dealers have pulled out of the company in Delhi-NCR, while three dealers of the company from Mumbai are looking to exit the company.

Meanwhile, eight showrooms of Tata Motors have been shut down in Delhi-NCR. The company’s total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in June 2013 stood at 52,708 units. The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for June 2013 were 48,712 vehicles. Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal were 153,191 units.
