Sundaram Brake Linings has decided to keep the operations suspended in the Plant 5 located in SEZ, Mahindra World City (MWC), Chengalpet in Tamil Nadu. The company has taken this step considering the current order book and inflow of orders with a view to keep costs under control. The company will keep reviewing the status of order inflow and decide about the resumption of production in the Plant 5.
Sundaram Brake Linings (SBL), a TVS Group company is now a fully Indian owned company manufacturing automotive, non-automotive and industrial friction materials. SBL products are extensively used in commercial vehicles, passenger cars, tractors (agricultural) and motor cycles.
