Western India completes repairs of 5 vessels

Western India Shipyard has completed repairs of 5 vessels namely, M. V. Navdhenu Swift, Casino Royale, Coastal Triumph, Greatship Dhawani and Greatsbip Aarti. The Company has won 2 repeat orders from its clients for repair of M.V. Maratha Deep and M.V. Priyamvada, of total value of Rs 500 lacs. The said transhipper vessels are expected shortly in the shipyard.

The scope of repairs includes surface protection, steel renewal, deck equipment, and other electrical, civil, mechanical and navigational equipment jobs. The repairs of 2 other vessels in the shipyard namely, CGS Sankalph and Oil Rig Aban 7 are progressing satisfactorily as per the repair schedules. The repairs of M.V. Seamec -1 & TSHD Omkara Prem, have been repaired and the vessels will depart shortly.

Western India Shipyard offers services such as routine maintenance and damage repairs, cargo hold/tank space blasting and coating, main engine overhauls, rudder, propeller and tail shaft repairs, and cargo gear overhaul and repairs.
