DPSC bags ‘Excellence in Wind Energy for the year 2012-13’ award

DPSC has received the award for ‘Excellence in Wind Energy for the year 2012-13’ in Mumbai on July 25, 2013 sponsored by CNBC TV 18. Talwar Solutions (TSPL) in association with CNBC TV 18 organized this prestigious ‘Energize Awards’ to recognize those organizations which have made outstanding contributions to India’s Energy Sector. The other winners were Tata Power, NTPC and THDC India in other nominations.

DPSC (formerly known as Dishergarh Power Supply Company), one of the oldest power utility companies in India, was incorporated in the year 1919 in the state of West Bengal. The company generates 12 MW from its coal-based thermal power plant at Dishergarh and operates 95 MW of wind power plants in Gujarat, Karnataka and Rajasthan, cumulatively.
