Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with clause no. 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the Listing Regulations read with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 (‘SEBI Circular’), Zydus Wellness has informed that Heinz India (HIPL) merged with Zydus Wellness Products (ZWPL’), a wholly owned subsidiary Company, has received an Assessment Order from the Office of Excise and Taxation Officer Cum Designated Officer, SAS Nagar, Mohali, under Punjab Vat Act, 2005 and CST Act, 1956 alleging short payment of tax and imposed penalty of ? 9.35 million along with applicable interest, if any, for FY 2017-2018 on issue of non-submission of statutory forms C, F, CSD and classification of products.
