NHPC has raised Rs 2489 crore on January 27, 2025, through Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-convertible, Non-cumulative and Taxable 7.20% AE Series Bonds 2035 on private placement basis.
These bonds are proposed for listing at Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE). Tenor of the instrument is 10 years where date of allotment is January 27, 2025 and maturity date will be January 27, 2035.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy work.
