Gati in talks with global firms for stake sale in cold chain subsidiary

Gati, a logistics firm is in discussion with two global firms in order to sell its cold chain subsidiary - Gati Kausar’s stakes. However, it is likely to continue holding majority stake in Kausar as it expects to see a 25% growth this year in the segment. With this initiative, the company aims to get additional equity as well as the benefit of global practices.

The cold chain subsidiary is planning to set up two warehouses, one each near Delhi and Mumbai. Gati Kausar, with a fleet of 213 refrigerated vehicles, is the second largest cold chain player after Snowman Logistics.
