Jindal Steel hikes plate prices by average Rs 1,000- 2000 per tonne: Report

Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has reportedly raised plate prices by average Rs 1,000- 2000 per tonne. Recently, the company had raised long product prices by average Rs 800 per tonne. 

In separate development, the company’s subsidiary Jindal Power is planning to set up hydro power plants in Tajikstan. At present, the company is executing three hydro power projects in the Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, at Etalin, Atunnli and Kamla.
