Jindal Steel ventures into retail product segment

Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has ventured into retail marketing of its products by launching a new brand identity, Jindal Panther. The first product to be launched under the new brand is TMT rebars. Further, JSPL would market its retail products through 40 distributors, and 1,000 dealers spread across 671 districts in the country.

The company will manufacture TMT rebars at its mill at Patratu in Jharkhand, which has a production capacity of one million tonnes per annum (mtpa).

JSPL is a part of Jindal Group and is a leading player in Steel, Power, Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure. The company produces economical and efficient steel and power through backward integration from its own captive coal and iron-ore mines and passes on the benefits to its customers.
