State Bank of Travancore (SBT), an associate of State Bank of India, has unveiled a new deposit scheme ‘Swaraj 66’, to coincide with the festivals of Id-ul-fitr; Independence Day; SBT Foundation Day; and Onam being celebrated in the coming days.
The minimum amount of investment will be Rs 10,000 and will run for a period of 66 weeks. The deposit carries an interest of 9.35% per annum for senior citizens and 9.10% per annum for others including non-residents. The new deposit scheme is effective from August 05, 2013 and is currently available at all the branches of the bank.
