CRISIL declines despite reporting 7% rise in consolidated net profit in December quarter

CRISIL is currently trading at Rs. 5055.75, down by 42.15 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 5097.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5097.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5112.65 and Rs. 4613.95 respectively. So far 12081 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6955.40 on 31-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3880.75 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5491.35 and Rs. 4613.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37004.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.22% and 13.14% respectively.

The company has reported 10.76% decline in its net profit at Rs 206.21 crore for December quarter as compared to net profit of Rs 231.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally at Rs 629.74 crore for December quarter as compared to Rs 628.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 6.93% rise in its net profit at Rs 224.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to net profit of Rs 210.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased marginally at Rs 943.15 crore for December quarter as compared to Rs 950.95 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
