Union Bank of India has won three Information Technology (IT) Excellence Awards 2012-13 from the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT). The bank won the ‘Best IT Team’ award from IDRBT. This award recognized and honored bank’s IT Team as the Best IT Team amongst all Public Sector Banks.
Besides, the innovative technologies introduced in Financial Inclusion project and best management of IT risks in bank added more values by recognizing bank with Special Awards among all the banks across India including Public and Private sector Banks. These innovative tasks have been recognized as Special IDRBT IT Excellence Award for FY 2012-13 under ‘Technology for FI’ and ‘Managing IT Risk’ categories.
