Virtuoso Optoelectronics has commenced the commercial operations of its components manufacturing unit at Chennai. The new unit operated through company’s wholly owned subsidiary -- M/s Virtuoso Polymers. This facility, located in Chennai, will help in improving backward integration and also increase the component business volume of the company.
The company had planned to invest Rs 6 crore for the plant with capacity of 4000 sets per day. The new unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, enabling the company to produce Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) & other small parts in an environmentally responsible manner. With a focus on energy efficiency and reduced carbon footprint, the plant will enhance the company’s capabilities to produce and re-cycle EPS products. Other components will also be added over a period of time.
Virtuoso Optoelectronics is engaged in manufacturing of high-volume, large-scale production of consumer & industrial products.
