The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has concluded the Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) at Andhra Pradesh facility of Eugia Steriles, a stepdown subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma. The inspection conducted from February 10, 2025 to February 18, 2025.

The inspection concluded with 5 observations. The observations are procedural in nature and will be responded to within the stipulated time.

Aurobindo Pharma is engaged in manufacturing pharmaceutical products. It offers active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and generic formulations like astemizole, domeperidone and omeprazole; anti-infective, oral and sterile antibiotics, pain management and osteoporosis segments.
