Manappuram Finance has informed that, on February 26, 2025, the Company has received an Order under Section 73 of the Tamil Nadu State GST Act, 2017 read with relevant provisions of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, from the State of Tamil Nadu relating FY 2020-21 wherein a Tax Demand of Rs. 1.22 Cr. along with an Interest of Rs. 0.86 Cr. and a Penalty of Rs 2.58 Cr. has been imposed/ demanded.
