Gujarat State Petronet gets nod from PNGRB for capacity expansion

Gujarat State Petronet (GSPL) has received approval from Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) for expansion of capacity of GSPL's High Pressure Gujarat Gas Grid by laying of Anjar Palanpur Pipeline. 

The 274 km pipeline with the capacity of 12 MMSCMD (Million Metric Standard Cubic Meter Per Day) is to be built from Anjar to Palanpur in Gujarat. The expected capital expenditure for the expansion is Rs 2051.18 crore. The estimate period to complete the expansion is 3 years. 

Gujarat State Petronet is a natural gas infrastructure and transmission company engaged in gas transportation business. The company is engaged in transmission of natural gas through pipelines on an open access basis from supply points to demand centers.
