Further to letter no. CFR/SE/2023-24/OCT/01 dated October 06, 2023, regarding AntiDumping Investigation concerning imports of ‘Soft Ferrites Cores’ originating in or exported from China, Cosmo Ferrites has informed that the Central Government vide Gazette Notification no. 04/2025-Customs (ADD) dated March 18, 2025, has imposed ‘Anti-Dumping Duty of up to 35% on import of soft ferrites cores’ from China and/ or any import of soft ferrite cores of China origin. The said anti-dumping duty has come into effect from 18th March 2025 and is valid for five years. Copy of the Gazette Notification is enclosed. The company expect that this will enable achieving higher capacity utilization and improved operating margins.
