Tata Power trades in green on the BSE

Tata Power is currently trading at Rs. 74.85, up by 1.60 points or 2.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 73.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 74.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 75.90 and Rs. 73.50 respectively. So far 236929 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 113.20 on 05-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.25 on 06-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 78.50 and Rs. 72.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17726.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.47% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.22% and 16.08% respectively.

Tata Power, the country’s largest integrated power company, has been adjudged as the winner of the MACCIA Awards 2013 in the power and energy category for the excellent leadership and commitment demonstrated by the company for the progress of the state of Maharashtra.

The MACCAI Awards felicitate enterprises which have contributed towards the strategic placement of ‘Brand Maharashtra’ on the Indian and global radar. The jury judged the enterprises on the basis of their role in the progress of Maharashtra in the fields of social service / public service, science and technology, banking, infrastructure, logistics, and entertainment.

The awards were presented by the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture and IBN-Lokmat, the strategic partner at a function held on August 09 at Mumbai.
