Malpani Pipes & Fittings has installed a state-of-the-art 1,136.34 KWP rooftop solar power plant at its manufacturing facility in Ratlam. The rooftop solar installation spans the company’s expansive 1,50,000 sq. ft. premises, which includes a constructed area of 80,000 sq. ft (approximate). This strategic investment not only aligns with the company's long-term vision for sustainable manufacturing but also reinforces its commitment to environmental responsibility.

The solar power plant marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing practices. The commissioning of the project is set to begin in May and is expected to be completed by the end of August, with benefits anticipated to begin reflecting in the 2nd half of fiscal year 2025-26.

The solar panels will be strategically mounted on the rooftop of the factory shed, allowing the company to harness clean, renewable energy for its day-to-day manufacturing operations. The project is estimated to generate approximately 12,50,000 units of electricity annually, resulting in a projected annual cost saving of Rs 87.50 lakh. According to internal projections, the investment cost is expected to be recovered within the first four years of operation.
