Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has been awarded steel wheels business valued at $5 million (Rs 43 crore) over business life of 5 years from a Global OEM based out of southern hemisphere. SSWL has started development of this program with series production scheduled from FY 2026 from Chennai Plant of the company.
SSWL is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
