Ceat zooms despite reporting marginal fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Ceat is currently trading at Rs 3306.95, up by 245.55 points or 8.02% from its previous closing of Rs 3061.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 3025.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs 3320.00 and Rs 3025.00 respectively. So far 31643 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 3581.45 on 09-Dec-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 2211.00 on 13-May-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 3320 and Rs 2989.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 13320.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.79% and 16% respectively.

Ceat has reported 15.69% fall in its net profit at Rs 100.38 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 119.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.61% at Rs 3417.92 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2982.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 3.48% fall in its net profit at Rs 98.71 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 102.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.36% at Rs 3425.14 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2994.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 26.32% fall in its net profit at Rs 482.10 crore as compared to Rs 654.30 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 10.79% at Rs 13205.00 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11918.87 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 25.80% fall in its net profit at Rs 471.37 crore as compared to Rs 635.28 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 10.63% at Rs 13235.42 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11963.21 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
