Canara Bank reports 34% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Canara Bank has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2025.

The bank has reported over 33.15% rise in its net profit at Rs 5002.66 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3757.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 9.78% at Rs 37352.80 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 34025.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 34.38% rise in its net profit at Rs 5097.45 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 3793.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the bank increased by 7.68% at Rs 40256.19 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 37384.14 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the bank has reported 16.99% rise in its net profit at Rs 17026.67 crore as compared to Rs 14554.33 crore for the previous year. The total income of the bank increased by 11.40% at Rs 142207.87 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 127654.37 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 17.27% rise in its net profit at Rs 17335.99 crore as compared to Rs 14782.36 crore for the previous year. The total income of the bank increased by 9.70% at Rs 152657.89 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 139164.94 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
