Tata Motors strengthens on launching ‘Safari Storme’ at Rs 10.86 lakh

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 291.55, up by 1.30 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 290.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 291.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 295.65 and Rs. 286.35 respectively. So far 353062 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 337.05 on 10-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 225.15 on 06-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 306.00 and Rs. 278.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78885.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.35% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.98% and 8.43% respectively.

The vehicle delivers a performance of 0 - 100 km/hr in under 15 sec, at 14kmpl. The Safari Storme also features ESOF (electronic shift on the fly) technology, enabling engagement of the 4x4 or 4X2 mode, on the move.
