Tata I-Shakti pulses, India's first national branded pulses product introduced by Tata Chemicals, has launched ‘Tata I-Shakti Besan’ (gram flour) in Mumbai. Tata I-Shakti Besan is now available in 500g SKUs across retail stores in Mumbai. This is processed from 100 percent chana dal ensuring food quality and food safety with Agmark Grade 1 certification.
Tata under its I-Shakti brand already has premium quality unpolished pulses which are currently available in over 24,000 retail outlets across 21 states. With the launch of Tata I-Shakti Besan, Tata Chemicals has entered into the second phase of its consumer product category expansion with an objective to provide quality staples for the Indian homemaker.
