Tirupati Forge has successfully commissioned its 4.8 MW solar power plant. Built for 100% captive consumption, the plant is a significant step toward reducing the company’s dependence on conventional energy sources and optimizing power expenditure.
The solar initiative is projected to deliver annual savings of Rs 25 million in electricity costs. With planned extensions at upcoming sites, the total annual savings could reach up to Rs 50 million, significantly strengthening the company’s bottom line while supporting its sustainability goals.
This infrastructure is designed to deliver high output with enhanced reliability, tailored for the rigorous demands of industrial usage. The project is part of Tirupati Forge’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda, reflecting a proactive approach toward cleaner operations and reduced carbon footprint.
Tirupati Forge is engaged in manufacturing of closed die forged products like auto component, bearings, gears, etc and forged flanges of mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, etc. based out at Hadamtala Industrial Estate, Rajkot, Gujarat.
