Engineers India pays final dividend of Rs 81.27 crore to GoI

State-owned, Engineers India (EIL) has paid final dividend amounting to Rs 81.27 crore for the FY 2012-13 to the Government of India (GoI). The company presented a cheque to M Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas on August 27, 2013.

The above amount is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 81.27 crore paid to GoI in March, 2013. Thus the total dividend paid to the government is Rs 162.54 crore. The total dividend for the financial year 2012-13 amounts to Rs 202.16 crore.

Engineers India is a total solutions consultancy company and EPC contractor in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pipelines, oil and gas terminals and storages, fertilizers, mining & metallurgy and infrastructure projects. The company is also diversifying into water and waste management and has made inroads into nuclear, solar and thermal power sectors.
