REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary namely ‘Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission’. The Company has been incorporated for Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Rajgarh (1500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase III and Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Neemuch (1000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase II.

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
