Uno Minda has received approval for detailed project report (DPR) to set up new manufacturing facility of the casting division of the company at Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, to carter the increasing demands of OEMs for casting parts in EV Vehicles. The total capital expenditure for this new manufacturing facility is estimated at around Rs 210 crore to be spent in phased manner.
With this new facility, the proposed capacity addition will be 3,629 MT per annum to be achieved in phased manner. The proposed capacity is to be added over a period of next 5 years in a phased manner with Phase 1 expected SOP in Q2 2026-27.
The committee of the Board of Directors in its meeting held on June 19, 2025, has considered and approved the same.
Uno Minda is engaged in the business of manufacturing of auto components including auto electrical parts and its accessories and caters to both domestic and international markets.
